Triple Helix Innovation Summit 2026 - Postponed to 2027

The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), in partnership with the Triple Helix Association, wishes to inform scholars, practitioners, and policymakers that the Triple Helix Innovation Summit 2026, originally scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates from April 14–16, 2026, and previously announced in the January edition of the THN Newsletter, has been postponed to 2027.
This decision follows the emergence of an unfortunate and highly volatile geopolitical situation, which has created significant uncertainties and constraints beyond the control of the organisers. In light of these developments, postponement is necessary to ensure the safety, inclusivity, and successful participation of all stakeholders.
A new date and further details for the Summit will be communicated in due course.
Triple Helix Nigeria (THN) is pleased to announce its Second Quarterly Webinar for 2026, continuing its commitment to driving innovation and institutional transformation in line with its strategic Vision 10:10:10:10.
This upcoming session will focus on the theme:
“Entrepreneurial Universities and Vision 10:10:10:10: Reforming Governance, Incentives and Innovation Policy.”
The webinar will explore how universities can evolve into entrepreneurial hubs, strengthening governance structures, aligning incentives, and advancing innovation policies that support research commercialisation and national development.
As part of THN’s ongoing efforts to bridge academia, industry, and government, the session will provide a platform for thought leadership, policy dialogue, and practical insights into building resilient and innovation-driven knowledge institutions.
